Jane Kennedy Clark, 94, of Florence died on February 11, 2025 surrounded by family. She was a member of Salem Church of Christ. She loved gardening, working in the yard, and collecting all sorts of items. “Granny,” as she was affectionally known, enjoyed cooking for others and was known for her chicken and dressing. Although she was born and raised in a simple life, she was able to travel all over the world and experience many different cultures.
A visitation will be Friday, February 14, 2025 at Salem Church of Christ from 10:00 am-12:00 pm with a funeral service to immediately follow. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Larimore Clark; parents, Hiram and Velma Kennedy; grandsons, Zachary Myhan and Caleb Marks; great grandson, Rutledge Myhan; four brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by daughters, Pat Myhan (Jim) and Sherry Marks (Carl); grandchildren, Andrew Myhan (Emily), Will Myhan (Lynsey), Lucas Marks (Amanda), and Ola Jane Chaney (Erick); great grandchildren, Addie Jane, Emmie, and Mollie Myhan, Emmalynn and Ann Houston Marks; and her much anticipated great grandson, Jett Myhan; sister, Sue Shaw; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Although she travelled extensively, Granny was born and raised within a mile of where she died. The family would like to give a special thanks to Beth Anerton and all the staff of El Reposo Nursing Facility for their wonderful care.
