James "Larry" Kelley, Sr.

James “Larry” Kelley Sr., 83, Florence passed away October 9, 2025 at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Home.  Mr. Kelley was in insurance sales. 

There will be a graveside service Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Florence City Cemetery with burial to follow.

Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by his parents, William Carl and Bessie James Kelley; brother, Buddy Kelley; sisters, Betty Hayes Slatton, Alice Payne, and Penny Sharp.

He is survived by his daughters, Kerri Kelley Robertson (Jeff) and Lori Kelley Word (Scott Kacic); sons, James Larry Kelley Jr “Jimmy” and Keith Kelley (Cindy), grandchildren Kelly Rose Lindsey, Kensey Hudson, Lane Robertson, Kendra Clemons, Hunter Kelley, Grayson Word, and Jack Word; great grandchildren, Parker Lindsey, Becton Brown, Ann Charles Lindsey, Libby Hudson,  Wells Hudson, Kyler Haynes, Jarhett Clemons, Sawyer Clemons, Andrew Clemons, Landon Kelley, and Lawson Kelley.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.
