J.W. Vickery

J. W. Vickery, 94, of Fayetteville, TN, formerly of Florence, passed away at Crestwood Hospital, Huntsville.  He was a welder and a member of Liberty Church of Christ in Fayetteville, TN.

Visitation will be Monday, August 5, 2024, from 12-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.  Officiating will be Tim Rice.

J. W. was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Elam Vickery; parents, Tom and Lula Vickery, and many loving brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife Melissa Swing Vickery; daughter, Rita Vickery Wilson; grandchildren, Paul Farley Wilson (Natalie) and Stacy Wilson Gilmore (Shane); 9 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren.
