Irene (McClure) Parker

 Irene McClure Parker, 97, of Florence, passed away May 26, 1019.  She was a faithful member of Salem Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, sewing, and taking care of others. A favorite time for her was traveling in the RV with Alvin to every continental state, overseas with church friends, and partnering with Alvin in his second career.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Salem Church of Christ. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the church with burial following in Greenview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Parker; parents, Dee and Mae McClure; and sister, Thelma Mills.

She is survived by her daughters, Pam Bragwell (Jim), and Nelda Thomason (Jim); sons, Steve Parker (Regina), and Preston Parker (Tina); sister, Imogene Gray; grandchildren, Kerri Townsend (Terry), Ryan Thomason (Kelly), Chris Bragwell (Tammy), Brad Thomason (Kim), Amy Chastain (Matt), Chad Thomason (Whitney), Ben Parker (Bre), Emily Keith (Stewart), and John Parker (Susie); great-grandchildren, Alicia Cruz, Michael and David Bragwell, Leah and Nathan Townsend, John, Parker, Tori, Sydney, Shelby, Katie, Andrew, Ryan, and Maggie Thomason; and Gray and Ellena Chastain; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chris Bragwell, Chad Thomason, Ryan Thomason, Brad Thomason, Ben Parker, and John Parker.
