Helen Louise Madrid

Helen Louise Madrid, 91, of Florence passed away on January 13, 2026. 

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral will be in Greenview Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m.  Entombment will follow at Love Mausoleum in Greenview Memorial Park.

Helen was a Girl Scout leader, substitute teacher, photographer, artist, world traveler, and an avid gardener.  She loved music and played the dulcimer and violin.

Helen was a former member of Salem Church of Christ.  She was a member of Creekside Church of Christ.

She was a friend to all she met.

Helen was predeceased by Robert Jackson, Kimberly Jackson, Gil P. Madrid, and Thomas E. Montgomery.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Jackson Trotter, Tina Hill, and Hazel Annette Hillhouse; grandchildren, Jason Pruitt, Amanda Morrison (Bobby), Mary Buffler Hodgkins (Daniel); Augustus Buffler, Kimberly Powers (Conlee); seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
