Harry "Les" Leslie Meyers

Harry Leslie Meyers, 73, of Florence, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026, at North Alabama Medical Center. “Les” will be deeply missed by his wife, Paula, of 53 wonderful years, who was also his high school sweetheart and the love of his life.  Everyone knew just how much Leslie adored his wife, Paula.  He was a proud husband, father, grand, as well as, a great grandfather.  Leslie proudly supported his wife, and family by relocating freight of all kinds and as a mechanic, which was also his favorite hobby.  Leslie was a member of Central Heights Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.  When “Les” loved you, he loved you whole heartedly.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Friday, January 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.

“Les” was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Meyers and his son, Luke Meyers.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Meyers; sons, Matthew Meyers (Angie) and Mark Meyers (Candie); grandchildren, Lundon, Nicole, Jasmine, Alana, Keith, Autumn Rayne, Ethan, Mason, Gabriel, Nick, Rian Paige, Jayleigh Beth, Chailey, Chastity and Chandler; great grandchildren, Brylie Kate, Leeland, Jack, Timberly, Leland N, Lincoln, Lettie, Jasper, Arizona, Holland, and Shepard.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Meyers, Lundon Meyers, Mason Meyers, Gabriel Watkins Meyers, Keith Meyers, and Mason Harkins.

Honorary Pallbearers are Matthew Meyers, Mark Meyers, and Nick Meyers.
