Harriet Lane (McCroskey) Bratcher

Harriet Lane Bratcher, 86, of Florence, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024, at her home.  She was a homemaker and a member of Magnolia Church of Christ.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mary Lou McCroskey; brother, Alfred “Bubba” McCroskey, Jr.; and grandson, Scotty Cohen.

Harriet is survived by her husband, Donald R. Bratcher; son, Ray Bratcher, daughters, Mary Lynn Cohen and Catherine Bratcher; grandchildren, Heather Cohen, Tray Bratcher (Samantha), Tyra Newkirk, Michael Newkirk, Alex Homer, Samantha Chopper (Aaron), Dylan Owens (Mikel); 10 great grandchildren; and beloved Yorkie, Rascal.

Harriet was a devout Christian who loved her Lord.  She was a beloved wife and mother, and she dearly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A special thanks to everyone at Southern Care Hospice, especially Amanda, Sue Ann, Misty, and Bre.
