Glenn Houston McGee

Glenn Houston McGee, 97, of Florence, passed away December 12, 2024 at his residence. He was a member of Helton Drive Church of Christ, Woodmen of the World, and Teamsters Union. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. He was a hard worker. Mr. McGee was dedicated to his family and church.

Visitation will be Monday, December 16, 2024 from 1-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. with Dwight McGee, Wylie Deason, and Josh Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Knight, Kris Rogers, Isaac McGee, Joe McGee, Lenis McGee, Silas McGee, Owen McGee, and Kent McGee. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders of Helton Drive Church of Christ, Darin Alexander and Joel McCord.

Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Pearl McGee; daughters, Karla McGee and Katherine McGee.

He is survived by his wife of almost 72 years, Juanita Fowler McGee; son, Dwight McGee (Deborah); daughter, Karen Knight (Ronnie), brother, Ray McGee; grandchildren, Lara Elizabeth Guthrie (Josh), Isaac McGee (Jamie), Christian McGee Comer (Michael), Katharine Gann (Sawyer), and Kris Rogers; and great-grandchildren, Josiah and Joy Beth McGee.
