Dianne Williams, age 76, of Killen, Alabama, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home.
Dianne was born on September 2, 1948, to Dan and Irene Hill, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers John Hill and Bill Hill, her beloved daughter Lori Williams Powers, her son-in-law David Powers, and her granddaughter Mary Williams.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Steve Williams, and her loving family: her son Stevie Williams Jr. and his wife Brittany Williams of Lawrenceburg, TN; three grandchildren, Wes Smith and his wife Andee Smith of Killen, AL, Emily Williams of Loretto, TN, and Tripp Williams and his wife Rhonda Williams of Mobile, AL; and three great-grandchildren, Hogan Smith, Watson Smith, and Brody Kitchens. Dianne is also survived by her brother Ronnie Hill and his wife Joanie Hill, and her sister Tudy Barnett and her husband Melvin Barnett.
In her younger years, Dianne had a deep passion for basketball and golf. Later in life, she especially cherished watching her grandchildren carry on the family’s love of these sports. A natural teacher at heart, Dianne touched many lives through her gentle guidance, wisdom, and unwavering support.
The family is deeply thankful for the care, love, and support from all the nurses and techs at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. A special thank you is extended to lifelong friend, Shirley Murphy, who was by Dianne’s side through most of her days.
She will be remembered most for her kindness, her quiet strength, and the joy she found in her family.
