Gerald Eugene Earwood

Gerald Eugene Earwood, 88, of Florence, AL, passed away on October 11, 2025.  

There will be a graveside service Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Doug Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Ira B. and Clare Earwood of Florence, AL; son, Barry Eugene Earwood of Houston, TX.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Earwood, of Florence, AL; son, Brian Earwood, of Florence, AL; grandsons, Daniel Earwood (Cat), of Killen, AL and A.J. Earwood of Florence, AL.

He was a member of Wood Avenue Church of Christ, and retired from Reynolds Metals. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to North AL Christian Children’s Home P.O. Box 2652 Florence, AL 35630 or to the American Diabetes Association.
