George Mojica

George Mojica, 78, of Florence, passed July 10th, 2024 at North Alabama Medical Center. He was born in Temple, Texas, June 10th, 1946 to Willie and Felice Mojica. George retired from construction and welding.

George was preceded in death by his parents; Willie and Felice Mojica; sister, Gloria Miramontes; brother, Willie (Charlie) Mojica; and granddaughter, Kayleigh Mojica.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda of 59 years; daughter, Gwyn Hargrave (John); son, George G. Mojica, Jr. (DeShawn); sisters, Beatrice Mojica; grandchildren, Kristy Albi (John), Hunter Hargrave, and Aaliyah Mojica; and a large loving family and friends that he thought the world of.

He will always be remembered as a compassionate, fun loving, humble, family man.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, July 17th, 2024, 2 to 4 pm at Greenview Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow in the chapel at 4 pm.
