A Tribute to Gary James Rose
Gary was a 70 year old single man from Florence, AL. He was born on March 8, 1950. He had a brief illness of Liver Disease that took the final toll on him on October 8, 2020, as his family was by his side until the end.
He was the most gentle, loving, and caring man with a Heart of Gold. He had accomplished many things in life. From his work in the ECM Orthopedics, Paramedic with Metro Ambulance, Volunteer of the Rescue Unit (Crisis Action Team) as their Medical Director. He served untold hours helping others that were in need of his services. He also was a Scuba Diver for the CAT team performing many tasks as one of our unsung heroes. His final job was working for Professional Carriers where he worked for a very long time. He had made many friends there that had become family to him and likewise. They were terrific to him in the past and even more so when his health was declining to now even after his passing. His family and friends are so appreciative of you all for being there for him.
Gary had also had a new found love of Photography; he took much pride in his work photographing nature, people, events, sports, and family gatherings. Bald Eagles were his favorite to look for and take pictures of. He also met many friends in the photography world, and he cherished each one of you.
