Gary Wayne Ivy

Mr. Gary Wayne Ivy, 69 of Florence passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 at his residence. He was retired from Irons electric, a hard worker who could fix and repair anything and a die- hard Alabama fan! Gary loved his family and was loved by all who knew him.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. Service will follow at 1 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Dennis Ivy.

Mr. Ivy is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Blanche Ivy and a brother Charles Thomas.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Richardson Ivy, three daughters, Kristy Street (Eric), Heather Ivy (James), and Candace Ivy, two brothers, Dennis Ivy (Mary) and Mark Ivy, four sisters, Patricia Russell (Jack), Joan Bogue, Linda Trousdale, and Mona Ivy, four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Fields (Tyler), Kameron Street (Alexis), Kooper Street, and Luke Foshee, and one great grandchild, Nolan Fields.

Pallbearers will be Kameron Street, Kooper Street, Jamie Bogue, Michael Trousdale, Allen Gist, Johnny Hodges, and Luke Foshee.
