Frances (Maynord) Petty

Frances Petty, 84, of Florence, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024, at her residence. Mrs. Petty was a homemaker. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.  Officiating will be Timothy Ray.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion “Whitey” Petty; parents, Bulos and Inez Maynord; siblings, Temon Maynord, Harold Maynord, Leon Maynord, Albert Maynord, Jerry Maynord, Shell Jones, Mary Hurt; granddaughter, Julia Chester; great grandchild, Cade Chester.

Frances is survived by her sister, Charlotte Brown; children, Jennifer Hill (Bart), Jimmy Petty, and Alesha Price; grandchildren, Jesse Price, Robert Hill, Jessica Brown, Cody Petty, Audrey Woodward, Kimberly Hatfield, Christopher Petty; great grandchildren, Kyrsten, Jesse, Jr., Brooklan, Brody, Brayson, Madison, Morgan, Halle, Colten, Brendon, Aleigha, Heidi, Emory, Kenzie, Claire, Jordyn, Carson, Weston, Ashlyn, Johnsey, Hilly; and great-great grandchildren, Stella and Scarlet Walker.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Price, Sr., Robert Hill, Cody Petty, Christopher Petty, Jesse Price, Jr., and Matthew Woodward.
