Obituary
Evelyn “Melise” Taylor, 85, of Killen, passed away May 5, 2023. She was a member of Killen Church of Christ.
A visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Stan Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Winnie Dowell; daughter, Jacqueline Roberts; and granddaughter, Catherine Annette Bernauer.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Bennie Harold Taylor; son, Landon Roberts; daughter, Shella Roberts; sister, Terry Dowell Vaughn (David); grandchildren, Nickie Morton, Christopher Johnson, John Bernauer, Joe Bernauer, Kachina Roberts, Matoka Minikis, Caden Roberts, and Zia Goli; and great grandchildren, Jack Bernauer, Benni Bernauer, Davin Morton, and Ella Morton, Lycan Shoemake, Adalyn Minikis, and Ostara Goli.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Doyle McDonald and Steve Dover.
