Dorcas "Dot" Jeanette (King) Bowers

Dorcas “Dot” Jeanette King Bowers passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 25, 2025. She was born on October 15, 1946, to Charles Guy King and Margaret Jane King.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, the father of her children, Bill Bowers, and her older brother, Charles King.

Dot is survived by her children, Mark Bowers (Deanna) and Brian Bowers (Michelle); her grandchildren, Brandon Bowers (Allie), Abby Bowers, and Lori Simon (Darren), and the sunshine of her life, her great-granddaughter, Essa Bowers. She is also survived by her younger brother, Ronald Dexter King (Debbie) and her sister, Janice Miller (Keith); several nieces and nephews; and a very special lady who took care of her needs, Sheila.

 Dot, a.k.a. Mom and Grand Mama - will be sorely missed by many.
