Donald Ray Oakley

Donald Ray Oakley, 80 of Florence, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at North Alabama Medical Center after an extended illness. Mr. Oakley was owner of Oakley Auto Sales for 54 years and was a member of the Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 14, 2020 in Greenview Memorial Park at the grave site from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A graveside service will immediately follow with Rev. Dennis Jones officiating.

Mr. Oakley was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Oakley, Sr. and Atwood Simmons Oakley; brothers, W.T. Oakley, Robert Oakley, Floyd Oakley, Jr. Herschel Oakley, and Charles Oakley; sister, Geraldine Lindsey.

Mr. Oakley is survived by his wife, Jean Ann Jones Oakley; sons, Anthony Oakley (Casey) and Donnie Oakley (Sherry); daughter, Tammy Irons (Scott), all of Florence; grandchildren, Jeremy Oakley, Colter Irons, Heather Irons, Gunner Shook, Jase Shook, Breanna and Alex Willis; great grandchildren, Grant Irons, Tyler and Blake Oakley.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Miles, Steve Oakley, Charles Phillips, Joey Oakley, Jeremy Oakley and Colter Irons.
