Dimple Faye Watkins

Dimple Faye Watkins, 77, of Florence, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, at Green Oaks Inn Specialty Care Assisted Living. She was a retired coordinator at Food World and a member of Rogers Chapel Methodist Church.

Visitation will be Monday, July 29, 2024, from 1-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be at Rogers Chapel cemetery.  Officiating will be Ralph Mann.

Dimple was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Wilson; father, Buell Wilson; husband, Jerry Watkins; sisters, MayDean Gray and Thelma Riley.

She is survived by her son, Greg Watkins (Anita); daughter, Rhonda Durham; sister, Shirley Morgan; grandchildren, Brandon Durham, Kyle Durham, Josh Durham (Ellise), Casey Durham (Kesha), Payton Watkins (Brittany), Whitney Claunch (Brantley); and great grandchildren, Adaline Durham, Mable Durham, and Oliver Durham.

The family would like to thank the staff at Green Oaks Inn for the care given their Mother.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Morgan, Jeff Austin, John Roberson, Larry Erwin, and Shannon Erwin, and Dennis Stults.
