Debbie Floyd

Debbie Floyd, 73, of Florence, went to her heavenly Father on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at North Alabama Medical Center following complications from Crohn’s Disease. She was a devoted Christian and a member at Woodmont Baptist Church.

She was born June 3, 1951, in Birmingham, AL. 

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Harold Floyd and brother, Joe Floyd.

She is survived by her sister, Pam Floyd; cousins, John David Gist, Jimmy Gist, and David Killen.  She also leaves behind beloved friends and dogs.

Debbie was a 1969 graduate of Coffee High School and a retired R. N.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Greenview Memorial Park, Florence, AL. Per her wishes, there will be no visitation.

The family wishes to thank the critical care staff at North Alabama Medical Center with special appreciation to Sarah Williams, Alisa Robinson, CRNP, Dr. Mesquita, Dr. Ralph Aquadro, and Dr. Robert Bailey.
