David Ray McDaniel

David Ray McDaniel, 84, of Florence passed away on January 10, 2026. He was a member of St. John Methodist Church and a volunteer with the Underwood-Petersville Fire Department. He was owner of Mac’s Sales.

A visitation will be from 12:00-1:30 pm at Greenview Funeral Home Monday January 12, 2026. A graveside service will begin at 2:00 pm at Pisgah Methodist Cemetery.

Mr. McDaniel was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Frances McDaniel; parents, Billy and Mamie McDaniel; brothers, A.J. McDaniel and James McDaniel; sisters, Christine Butler and Carlene Ringelstein.

He is survived by sons, David McDaniel (Sharon) and Kevin McDaniel (Jodi); grandchildren, Ann Lilly, Erin, and Sophie McDaniel; and brother, Gene McDaniel.

Pallbearers will be Keith McDaniel, Dewayne Ringelstein, Scotty Butler, Adrian Shelton, and Jerry McDaniel.
