David Ray Terry

David Ray Terry, 53, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024. He was a Lauderdale County Deputy. David was a loving father, husband, son, and brother. He was a member of Grace House Church.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2024, at St. James Methodist Church from 6-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Friday, May 10, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be Eddie Lawrence and Chris Weldon. Greenview Funeral Home is assisting the family.

David was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Nix Terry; his mother, Martha Ann Terry; sons, David Alexander Terry, Jacob Christopher Terry, and Gabriel Stephen Terry; and his sister, April Rena Bogle.

Pallbearers will be Sam Winston, Jeremy Cain, Jason Brown, Johnathan Terry, and Steve Terry.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
