Danny Glenn Skipworth

Danny Glenn Skipworth, 75, of Florence, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center after an extended illness of heart disease.  Danny was a retired letter carrier with the U. S. Postal Service.  He served in Vietnam and was a Purple Heart recipient. Danny was an avid baseball card collector.  He was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church.

There will be a private, family graveside service Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Greenview Memorial Park.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Jodie and Maxine Skipworth; sister, Barbara Skipworth Coats; and brother, David L. Skipworth.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Brice Skipworth; daughter, Allison (Kenneth) Layport; son, Jason Skipworth; and grandchildren, Hannah Staggs and Brice Staggs.
