Columbus “Jim” Nevada Womble, 98 of Florence passed away April 21, 2025.

A graveside will be held on Saturday April 26, 2025 in Greenview Memorial Park.

Mr. Womble was preceded in death by parents, Edgar and Dorothy Womble; brothers, Edgar Womble, Jr., Charles “Dick” Womble, and Arthur Womble; and sister, Edna Lela.

He is survived by son, Joel Womble (Caryn) of Michigan; daughters, Jean Ann Blethen and Jane Sue Landis (Ryan) both of Michigan; brother, Houston Womble (Pam) of Michigan; grandchildren, Joseph and Joshua Blethen of Texas, Jamie Koop of Tennessee, Brent and Adam Womble of Michigan, and Christopher and Stephanie Cornwell of Michigan; and many great grandchildren.
