Clint Byrn Simpson

A Graveside Service for Clint Byrn Simpson, Jr, 96, of Florence, will be 11 AM, Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Tri Cities Memorial Garden, Florence, AL.  Terry Stubblefield will officiate the service.

Mr. Simpson passed from this life October 13, 2023, at his residence.  He was born October 13, 1927, to Clint B. Simpson, Sr. and Lenora Lasater Simpson. He was a member of IBEW Local 558 for 74 years.  He retired from Reynolds Metals.  Mr. Simpson served in the Navy, was a member of the Shriners and attended First United Methodist Church.

Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his wife, Bettye Young Simpson; daughter, Phyllis Ann Simpson, great granddaughter, Evie Simpson.

He is survived by his son, Chip (Deanna) Simpson; grandchildren, Whitney Thigpen, Logan (Lauren) Simpson; great grandchildren, Chloe Thigpen, Reece Thigpen, Lucy Simpson, Rhett Simpson, Riggs Simpson.

Pallbearers will be Logan Simpson, Myron Gardner, Andy Betterton, Eddy Lovelace, Bill Lovelace and Scott Sloan.

Honorary Pallbearer is Ed Lovelace.
