Clayton Robert Martin

Clayton “Roscoe” Robert Martin, 84, of Florence, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025 in his home. He was a loving husband, father, and follower of Christ. He also served in the United States Army and was a 37 year member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Visitation will be Monday, April 21, 2025, from 12:00 -2:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. The burial will take place following the service at Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Phillip Skipworth.

Clayton was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Glenda Balentine Martin; and brothers, Gordon, Jerry, and David Martin.

He is survived by his son, Brett (Penny) Martin; daughter, Alison (David) Stanfield; and grandchildren, Caleb Stanfield, Austin Stanfield, and Tyler Rhodes.

Honorary pallbearers are Mike Moore, Brad Darnall, and Julian Buzzy Bell.

Pallbearers are Jon Cooper, Allen Lowery, Martin Humble, Keith Beene, Scott Hatton, and Addie August.
