Cathy Haddock Lambert

Cathy Haddock Lambert, 69, passed from this life on October 4, 2024, at her home. Cathy was born September 1, 1955 to Owen Thomas Haddock and Myrtle Lavonne (Bonnie) Underwood. She was a long-time member of Stony Point Church of Christ and a graduate of Central High School.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents; husband and father of her children, Ralph Cranston Hall; and husband, Russell Owen Lambert, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Wesley Ralph Hall (Erin); her daughter, Bridgett Hall Flynn (Lee); bonus children, Russ Lambert, III (Emily), Will Lambert (Christi), Katie Hooie (Daniel); grandchildren, Jake and Hadley Hall, Boston and Weslie Flynn, Reese Lambert (Kaylee), Ali Waddell (John Tucker), Lynnsey Beth Lambert, Madalyn, Lane, Jenny, James and Ashley Lambert, Maggie Gotcher (Marc), Anna Kate, Carley, and Sophie Hooie; 4 great granddaughters; brothers, Derrill Haddock (Diane), Roger Haddock (Marnie); sister-in-law, Judy Lambert.

Cathy loved spending time with her grandchildren, decorating, and shopping. She was a devoted mother and a loyal friend. She had a heart for missions and assisting missionaries when traveling to the U.S. She cherished their mission trips to Africa and dearly loved the people they met there. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Partners 4 Africa.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 10-11 am at Stony Point Church of Christ. Funeral service at 11 am with Brad Adcock and Dorian Flynn officiating. A private burial service will follow.

Pallbearers will be Burt Bretherick, Jason Haddock, Kyle Haddock, Alex Haddock, Chad Oakley, and Josh Willingham.

Honorary pallbearers are Roger Copeland and Ed Thrasher.
