Cathy DeLano Obituary

Cathy Lynn DeLano, 65, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at her home. She was a Boilermaker and a member of the Boilermaker’s Union.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Nelson DeLano.

She is survived by her mother, Lydia Ruth DeLano; sons, Kevin Smith (Nikki Bella) and Chad Rye; daughter, Selena Thompson (Neal); brothers, Don DeLano, David DeLano, and Roger DeLano; sisters, Peggy Caldwell, and Shirley McClure; grandchildren, Maeli Thompson, Kaylyn Smith, Cole Rye, Avery Rye, and Sawyer Rye; and special best friends, Karen Prince and Debra Moore.
