Carolyn Jean (Pruitt) White

Carolyn Jean Pruitt White, 82 of Florence, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025. Carolyn was retired from Mid-South Home Health, and was a member of the Eastern Star and of the Mt. Tabor Church.

Visitation will be Monday, February 3, 2025 at Greenview Funeral Home from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 4, 2025 in Greenview Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm with Bro. Greg Reynolds will be officiating, services will conclude with burial in Greenview Memorial Park following the service.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling White; mother, Bertha Jones; father, Roy Pruitt; and half-brother, Jerry Pruitt.

She is survived by daughter, Melissa Fountain; son, Mark White (Beverly); grandsons, Nick Fountain and Joshua White (Cassandra); great-grandchildren, Averil, Katherine, Henry, Marshall, and Thomas; brothers, A.D. Pruitt and half-brother Danny Pruitt; and half-sister, Nancy Mabe. Her caregiver was Tracy Kimbrough.

Pallbearers will be Heath Lamprecht, Tim Rhodes, Mark White, Joshua White, Nick Fountain and Ray Pruitt.
