Carolyn (Cain) McGee

Carolyn Cain McGee, 80, of Florence, AL passed away on October 27, 2024, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Facility.

She is survived by her son, Michael Perry (Leah), Roswell, GA; granddaughter, Claire Perry Fushimi (Jake), Roswell, GA; sister, Donna Sparks (Harold), Nashville, TN; and two nieces, Stacey Roney and Emily Guess, both of Nashville, TN.

 She was born July 26, 1944 in Guin, AL to the late Pete and Virginia Cain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H.C. McGee; daughter, Amanda Hamby; and son, Brad Perry. Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Florence and a graduate of Florence State University (now UNA) with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family.

 A private service will be held by the family at a later time.
