In Loving Memory of Billie Mangas Carmack. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Billie Mangas Carmack, born on January 30th, 1933, in Wayne County Tennessee. She graduated from Central High School in 1952 and was a member of Center Star Church of Christ. Billie was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of everyone she met. She passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and generosity.
Billie was the heart of our family, and her presence will be deeply missed. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her love and guidance inspired countless memories and moments of joy. Her selflessness, compassion, and warmth inspired us all to be better versions of ourselves.
She was proceeded in death by her late husband, Roland (Bud) Mangas, late husband Gene Carmack; parents, Thomas and Daisy Holt, Son Randy Weddington, Grandson, Zachary Wallace, Brothers Ray Holt, Oliver Holt, Roy Holt, Sisters: Elsie Hall, Mildred Collins, Betty Lash, and Jeffie Holt.
She is survived by her son, Phillip Weddington; daughter- in- law, Michelle Weddington, daughter, Pam Wallace (Rod). Grand Children: Kristy Springer (Joe), Heather Ivy (Mark), Randal Weddington (Beth), Kelly Weddington, and Erin Brackin (Nick). Great Grandchildren: Jaden Springer, Kyleigh Springer, Kassidey Springer, Sophia Ivy, Syndney Ivy, Marcus Ivy, Blanche Ivy, Angus Ivy, Aubrey Weddington, Andrew Wheeler, Caleb Weddington, Anna Wheeler, Emmalee Brackin, and Eleanor Brackin. As we mourn her loss, we take comfort in the memories we shared with her and the values she instilled in us. We will remember her kindness, her generosity, and her unwavering support for those she loved. Her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched, and we will continue to celebrate her life in the days ahead.
A visitation will be held at Greenview Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 3:00pm on Thursday September 25th, 2025. The funeral will be held following the visitation at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be Kenny Windsor.
Pallbearers will be Rod Wallace, Randal Weddington, Nick Brackin, Caleb Weddington, Andrew Wheeler, and Randy White.
