Barbara Sue Hubbard

Barbara Sue Hubbard, 78, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family after an extended illness.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 12-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.  Officiating will be Larry Burbank.

Barbara was a native of Lauderdale County and a member of Valley View House of Prayer. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershal and Letha Hubbard; sisters, Margaret Marie Hubbard, Nannie Dee Rhodes, Thelma Jean Hayes and Jewel Roberson; brothers, Billy Joe Hubbard and Larry David Hubbard.

Barbara is survived by her son, Darrel David Murphy; daughter, Letha Murphy Gibson (John); sisters, Wanda Creasy and Sara Dowdy; grandchildren, Christina Keeton (Shane), Katelin Murphy, Austin Murphy (Lacey), David Gibson, and Caleb Gibson; great grandchildren, Mahaela Murphy, Emmett Smith, Jackson Murphy, Eli Gibson, Mila Morales, and Brycen Keeton.

Pallbearers will be John Gibson, Shane Keeton, Austin Murphy, David Gibson, Caleb Gibson, and Dale Hayes.

Serving as honorary pallbearer is Darrel Murphy.
