Barbara Ann (Bunge) Hausmann

MADISON — Barbara Ann Bunge Hausmann, 92, formerly of Florence, passed away in Madison, Alabama on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

Barbara was born on November 22, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio to Arnold Frederick and Florence Lillian Schaefer Bunge. She married Albert C. Hausmann on July 10, 1955. She was a stay-at-home mom raising three children and helping her husband in the business aspects of his artistic endeavors.

Mrs. Hausmann leaves behind her daughters Teri (Neal) Jeter of Madison, Alabama, and Kimberly Thomas of Huntsville; her grandchildren Stephen (Brittany) Jeter of Elkmont, Alabama; Lesley (Dave) Donoghue of Ireland; Chris (Amanda) Gates of Huntsville; and David (Amanda) Gates of Woodville,

Alabama; her great-grandchildren Andrew, Alice, and Austin Jeter of Elkmont, Alabama; Riley and Payton Gates of Huntsville; Will and Eva Gates of Woodville, Alabama; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert C. Hausmann on December 9, 2024, her parents, her son Rob, her grandson Adam Jeter, her brother and sister-in-law Arnold and Geri Bunge, Jr., her sister and brother-in-law Deri and Ed Eberhard.

Mom made a profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ ALONE, "not of works, lest any man should boast," in her later years, and is now in heaven for all eternity. Praise the Lord!

In accordance with Mrs. Hausmann's wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Donations may be made to the Kennedy-Douglas Center for the Arts or the Tennessee Valley Art Association.
