Barbara Cox Earwood

Barbara Cox Earwood, 81, of Florence AL, passed away on December 31, 2025.

A graveside service will be held at Tri-Cities Memorial Garden on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 1:00 pm. Officiating will be Doug Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Earwood; father, Horace Cox; mother, Ruth Cox Hester; and sister, Peggy Farrell.

She is survived by her son, Brian Earwood (Kim); brother, Bobby Cox (Elizabeth); grand-children, Daniel Earwood (Cat), and A.J. Earwood (Sadee); nieces, Lauren Cox Rodgers (Hunter), Ashley Athon (Jim); and nephew, Bernie Farrell (Lisa).

She was a member of Wood Avenue Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to North AL Christian Children’s Home P.O. Box 2652 Florence, AL 35630 or to the American Diabetes Association.
