Barbara Douglas Obituary

Barbara Douglas, 82, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Glenwood Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and a member of Oakdale Baptist church.

There will be a memorial service at a later date. Greenview Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Helen Payne; and brother, Harold Payne.

She is survived by her husband, James Douglas III; sons, Robert Latz, Benjamin Latz, Jr., James Latz, Chris Douglas (Amanda); daughters, Ruby Stutts (Thomas), Amanda Latz, Penelope Hyde (Ricky), Victoria Mooney (Randy), Rebecca Handley (Jimmy); brothers, Arthur Payne and Tommy Payne; sisters, Carol Love, Frances Starnes, Linda Tucker, Mary Payne; 35 grandchildren; and over 20 great grandchildren.
