Anna Ruth (Rhodes) Smith

Anna Ruth Smith, of Florence, passed away September 21, 2024 after an extended illness. She was a life-long member of Highland Baptist Church, and taught Home Economics at Muscle Shoals for a number of years.

A visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 am on September 24, 2024 at Greenview Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 am with Bro. Chris Underwood officiating.

Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Lee and Elsie Elliott Rhodes; and daughter Susanne Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Smith Arnett (Mark); and grandchildren, Seth and Benjamin Arnett.

Pallbearers will be Mark Arnett, Seth Arnett, and Benjamin Arnett.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Highland Baptist Church in Florence.
