Winona Spires

Winona Parrish Spires, 82, of Florence, passed away on March 24, 2019 at El Reposo Nursing Home. She was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ.

Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2019. The funeral service will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Sonny Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Parrish and Mildred Wanner Parrish; husband, Billy Joe Spires and grandson, Josh Medina.

Survivors include her sons, Barry Spires (Sherlyn) of Killen, AL and Joey Spires (Amy) of Birmingham, AL; sisters, Arnelle Green of Florence, AL and Judy Tipton of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Skylar and Daniel Spires and Jeremy Medina; great-grandchild, Gabriel Medina.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
