William "Bill" Ralph Tillman

William “Bill” Tillman, age 80, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at his home in Florence, AL. He was born September 11, 1938. He was of the Baptist faith. His mission was to tell everyone of Jesus and His plan of salvation; Jesus’ birth, death, burial and resurrection. Jesus is the only way to Heaven.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 11-12 Noon at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tommy Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

Bill is survived by his wife, Forest Yvonne Tillman of Florence; daughter, Sheila Ellis (Danny) of Florence; grandchildren, Jason Tillman and Alana Ellis; great-grandchildren, Landon Cantrell, Camryn Tillman, and Evie Fowlkes.

He was preceded in death by his son, Randall Tillman; parents, Alonzo and Conie Tillman; brothers, Troy, Roy, Jerry, and Charles; sisters, Oramae, Mable, Maggie, and Loney.

Pallbearers will be Danny Ellis, Charles Carroll, Robert Fowlkes, Randy Howell, Nicolas Smith, and Phillip Ellis.
