Wellodean Clemmons Singleton, 83, of Florence, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born September 12, 1935.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastors Robert Middleton and Chuck Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Singleton was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Ernest Singleton; parents, Elihue and Velma Clemmons; brother, Mylie Clemmons, and sister, Marvilean Tomlinson.
Survivors include her sons, Bobby (Linda) of Killen, Earnest Jr. (Cindy) of Killen, Danny (Betty) of Florence, and Dennis of Rogersville; daughters, Jeanice of Florence, and Peggy Singleton of Florence; brother, Gathern Clemmons of Bloomsdale, MO; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her favorite pet, Max.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jonathan, Donnie, Timothy, and Randall Singleton, Jerry Cox, and Gaylon Ivey.
Rob Brown and Marshall Brown, Jr. will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the nurses, staff of Kindred Home Health, Kindred Hospice, Dr. Randy Little, and Dr. Charles Thompson.
