Velma Pauline Lambert

Mrs. Velma Pauline Lambert, 85, of Cypress Inn, TN, passed September 30, 2017 at Wayne County Medical Center of Waynesboro, TN. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Monday, October 2, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Brother Thomas Sibley officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lambert; sons, Thomas and Kenneth Lambert; and parents, Henry and Helen Cromwell.

She is survived by her children, June Caperton of Loretto, TN, Joan Thompson (Steve) of Florence, Alvin Lambert (Cheryl) of Iron City, TN, Wayne Lambert (Cathy) of Waterloo, AL, Wanda Hanback (Jimmy) of Cypress Inn, TN, Connie Wilson of Cypress Inn, TN, Judy Herring of Florence, and Scottie Lambert (Wanda) of Cypress Inn, TN; 31 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren, and 25 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Lambert of Collinwood, TN, and Barbara Young of Cypress Inn, TN; brothers, Ira Sales of Florence, and Robert Cromwell (Ann) of Florence; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Burgess, Wesley Keener, Kyler Stults, Ramon Lambert, Josh Whitehead, and Christian Young.

Mrs. Lambert was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-great grandmother who was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
