Mrs. Thompson,

I am so very sorry for your loss. Having lost my husband last year to cancer, I tend to not look at the obituaries very much and I was unaware that Mr. Thompson had passed. I am so very sorry. Although Jordon and I were not married near as long as you and Mr. Thompson were, there is a special pain when you lose your spouse. Please feel free to let me know if there is anything that I can do.

Prayers for you and your family,
Kari-Kay & Andrew Cassady

Ladies,

I wish that I had something more comforting to tell you than I'm sorry for your loss, but I don't have the words. I can only tell you how special and what a truly good person I think Tommy is. I have great memories of the time spent with him...and all of them with that great smile of his on his face. Whether he was working on his art...or luring squirrels into the house...or hunting heart wood in the woods around Starkville, Mississippi, I don't have any memories where he wasn't smiling. Tommy was truly unique. One of a kind. I often had notions of looking him up and passing a few minutes talking, but never did and I regret that.

Remember the good times and the good things Tommy made a lot of people happy and the world a better place. He's special in that regard.

Jon

Dear Marie, Benny, and Mary Lee - I am so sorry to hear of Tommy's death. I have so many fond memories of our time in the Longview area. Tom passed away in June 2015, and I am living in Clinton, MS close to Lenora and her family . I would love to correspond with each of you. David Eldridge is my pastor at First Baptist Church here in Clinton. He had told me that Ms Eugenia was his aunt, and I have a picture of Ms Eugenia and Ms Lottie Myers when Ms. Eugenia was at the nursing facility in Florence. My prayer is that God's grace will provide you peace and comfort during this difficult season of grief. Much love to all. Linda

My condolence to the Thompson family. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I lost my dear Father four years ago, so I understand the hurt of losing someone we love in death. May the Almighty God (Jehovah, Psalms 83:18) comfort you during this difficult time.( 2 Corinthians 1:3,4)
