Sarah D. Lewis Butler passed away September 18, 2018, at her brother’s home after an extended illness. The last 6 months of her life, she had wonderful care given by her brother, sisters, their spouses and Southern Care Hospice. Sarah was born in Florence, Alabama. She spent most of her life working for Tee Jays Manufacturing.
Her visitation will be held at Greenview Funeral Home from 12- 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William Howard Lewis and Dorothy Wright Lewis, her two sons; Myron Keith Butler and William Hughlon Butler; her husband, John W. Butler.
She is survived by her brother and two sisters; Harold and Alice Lewis, Bobby and Elaine McDonald, Diane Fulton and Wayne Carter, grandchildren; Joshua Butler, Amanda and Scott Herston, Wesley and Briana Butler, great- grandchildren; Brianna, Brody, Bennett, and Rhett.
She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. We love you so much and are so thankful you were in our lives.
