Roger Wayne Miller

Roger Wayne Miller, 68, of Rogersville, died May 18, 2018 at his residence. He retired from Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant and served our nation in the United States Air Force in Vietnam. He was of the Baptist faith, graduate of the University of North Alabama, member of Kappa Sigma, and the Anderson golf club.

Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 2:30 p.m. -4:30 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 4:30 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Brother Robert Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Irene Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Truitt Miller of Rogersville, AL; brothers, Bill (Billie) Miller of Wadsworth, Ohio, and, Ricky (Janie) Miller of Muscle Shoals, AL; sister, Mary (Elbert) Buckelew of Chelsea, AL.; mother-in-law, Millinea Truitt Newbury; and, sister-in-law, Carole (Bob) Bevis, both of Florence, and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Miller, Barrett Parker, Eric Luedke, Bill Watson, Billy Leone, and, David Frye.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the former co-workers at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant; golf buddies at Anderson Golf Club, and, Karla Haven Neighbors.

The family would like to thank Carly Scott and Stephanie Clemmons for their loving care during this difficult time.
