Rick McKelvey

Rick McKelvey, 62, of Florence, died June 25, 2018 at Helen Keller Hospital.  He was a United States Army veteran and a member of Bethel Berry Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Irene McKelvey and brother, Larry McKelvey.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy McKelvey of Florence; daughter, Juli Schmidt (Jason) of Athens; son, Jonathan Studstill (Shannyn) of Prattville; sister-in-law, Judy McKelvey of Florence; grandsons, Jacob, Trent, and Brody; granddaughter, Jordan; nieces, Angela, Donna, and Tina; great-nephews, Cody and Dustin; great-niece, Brittany; and great-great-nephew, Owen.

Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home, from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. The funeral service will be in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018. Officiating will be Jerry Campbell. Burial will follow at Cloverdale Church of Christ cemetery with military honors accorded at graveside.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
