Reda Marzell Pickens

Reda Marzell Pickens, 91, of Lexington, passed away April 16, 2019 at her residence. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church.

Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2019 from 12-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Caleb Gooch, Tommy James, and Henry Melton officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Pickens was preceded in death by her husband, H.D. Pickens; parents, Luther and Ruth Crowe; and brothers, John (Tom) Crowe, Frank Crowe, and James Crowe.

She is survived by her son, Randy Pickens (Becky); daughter, Myra Truitt (Gary); sisters, Lila McLaughlin, and Becky Montgomery (Gwen) ; grandchildren, Tia Burrough (Kelly),Andrew Pickens (Magen), LaReda Box (Caleb), Eric Truitt, Caleb Gooch, and Chandler and Cade Evans; great-grandchildren, Lakyn Emmons, Rebecca Box, Isaiah Box, Zion Box, Elizabeth Box, Skyler Gault, and Raegen Pickens.

Pallbearers will be Eric Truitt, Andrew Pickens, Caleb Box, Max Paulk, Chandler Evans, and Cade Evans.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Abby and Amy with Kindred Home Health, and Hannah and Teresa with Community Care Hospice.
