Patricia "Pat" Anderson

Patricia “Pat” King Anderson, of Florence, born in Bessemer, AL September 13, 1941, passed from this earth March 25, 2019. She was a member of the Woodmont Baptist Church; she made a profession of faith at the age of 14. Pat served in the Mission Doll Ministry and in Church Ministry. She was retired from Thomasville Hospital after 33 years of service as RHIT before moving to Florence.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 10-12 Noon at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel with Chad Hess officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

Pat is survived by her husband of 59 years, Don Anderson; daughters, Kim (Tony) Danford of Phenix City, AL, and Julie Wilson (Preston) of Florence; grandchildren, Jeff Scott (Sara), and Sara and Sam Wilson; half-sisters; Dawn (Wayne) Shook and sons of Adamsville, AL, and Nancy (David) Harris and sons of Birmingham; nephews, John (Karen) Wilkerson of Riverside, AL, and Gregory (Elaine) Ramzinski of Lubbock, TX; sister-in-law, Ann Wilkerson of Scottsdale, AR ; and brother-in-law, Greg (Marcy) Ramzinski of San Antonia, TX.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Wylodine Egger Bruner; father, William E. King; nephew, Paul Ramzinski; half-sister, Debbie King; half-brother, Billy G. Wilkerson; and sister, Lynn Ramzinski.

The family would like to thank Dr. Felix Morris and the 5th floor nurses of North Alabama Medical Center for the excellent care they gave our loved one during her stay.

Active pallbearers will be Preston Wilson, Tony Danford, Sam Wilson, Michael Russell, Jim Franklin, and Larry Hall.

Honorary pallbearers will be Anderson’s Sunday School Class of Woodmont Baptist Church.
