Ollie "Shane" Roscoe Davis

Ollie Roscoe “Shane” Davis, 84, of Florence, died on April 26, 2018, at his residence.

Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 12 Noon -2:00 p.m.  The funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Charles Frederick and Cliff Vickery officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Polk Davis and Lottie Bea Evans Davis; brother, Bill Davis and sister, Joyce Sanderson.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Pruitt Davis; son, Marcus Davis; daughters, Sherrie Vickery, Melissa Gifford and Amanda Stegall; brother, Charlie “Fennie” Davis; sister, Sue Camp; grandchildren, Jesse Davis, Kimberly Vickery Chambers, Cliff Vickery, Wesley Gifford, Allen Gifford, Nikki Guyton and Colby Stegall; eight great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, who was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. He was affectionately known as “papaw.”    

Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Davis, Kimberly Chambers, Cliff Vickery, Ray Guyton, Clint Sanderson, and, Micky Camp.
