Michael Aubrey Butler, 56, of Killen, passed away on April 25, 2019 at his residence. He was a former parts manager at Jerry Damson and associates with the auto industry for over 30 years. He was a member of Chisholm Hills Church of Christ. He graduated from Bradshaw in 1976 and he was an avid Tennessee fan.
Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2019. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Larry Burbank officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Jackson Butler; brother, James Scott Butler; grandparents, Otis and Jimmie Stanfield and Zeus and Mattie Butler.
Survivors include his mother, Della Stanfield Butler; brother, Robert Douglas Butler (Lisa); sister, Trudy Butler-Turney (Steve) and niece, Madison Butler, and his pet companion, Bear.
He was kind-hearted and never met a stranger. To some he was known as Bubba and Pop-Pop and to others as Butler. He loved them all dearly. He was a great friend and brother and he will be dearly missed.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Phillips, Junior Clanton, Eddie Manuel, Wayne Birdwell, Preston Casteel and Randy Butler.
