Mary Ann (Peden) Ritchie

Mary Ann Ritchie, 81, of Florence, passed away May 3, 2018.

Visitation will be Monday, May 7, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Chris Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. Ritchie was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Ritchie; parents, Arter and Rena Peden; sister, Marylin Crowder; stepsons, Donnie and Marlos Ritchie.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Ritchie; daughter, Debra Sledge Thompson; brothers, Claudie “Bud”, Larry, and John Peden; sister, Henrietta Suggs; grandchildren, David Ritchie, Robert Sledge, II, Carolach Ritchie, Brandy Bevis, Marcia Sledge, Marlos Ritchie, Jr., and Bobby Stonecipher; and great-grandchildren, Sterling Sledge, Matthew Peffer, Jake and Grace Taylor, Zoey and Zane Bevis, and Austin Ritchie.

Active pallbearers will be Matt Peffer, David Ritchie, Robert Sledge, II, Bobby Stonecipher, Marlos Ritchie, and Mikey Taylor.

Jake Taylor and Leslie Meyers will serve as honorary pallbearers.
