Louise Dodd

Louise Dodd passed away in Rockwall, Texas, on August 2, 2018, at the age of 97.  She was born December 15, 1920, in Lutts, Tennessee, to Walter and Hattie Horton.  Louise moved to Florence when she as young and lived there most of her life.  She came to Texas several years ago to stay with her sister.

Louise was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Luther Dodd; infant daughter, Euple; and brother, Walter L. Horton Jr.  She is survived by her sister Allene Carter; and nephews Tim Haddock, Brian Horton, Jeff Horton, and Jerry Horton; along with a host of loving relatives and dear friends.  

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Greenview Memorial Chapel in Florence at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow at Pisgah First Methodist Church Cemetery.
