Judy Beckham Watkins, 76, of Florence, passed away August 2, 2017. She was a member of Petersville Church of Christ. Judy was known by many different names: beloved mother, mom, nana, sister, Aunt Judy, servant, and devoted friend. She loved her family deeply and you would be hard pressed to find a friend more loyal. Judy will be missed by those she leaves behind but great comfort is taken in knowing she is with her Savior, her parents, and her oldest sister.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Petersville Church of Christ. The funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. at the church with Sonny Owens and James Farris officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her parents, Cleophas and Nena Beckham; and a sister, Joyce Beckham.
She is survived by her sons, Phillip Watkins (Angie), Tim Watkins (Clara Jane); daughter, Angie Polk (Paul); special friend who was like a daughter, Kathy Harbin; brother, John Beckham (Brenda); sister, Ruth Patterson (Kenneth), grandchild, Jonathon Munce; and a great-grandchild, Aurora Nevaeh Munce.
Pallbearers will be Robert Tyree, Rob Tyree, Mike Worley, Michael Worley, Tyler Beckham, and Mason Rains.
